Located in the heart of Old Strathcona’s theatre district, the Fringe Theatre Arts Barns is a versatile venue capable of hosting everything from cozy intimate gatherings for 25 to large, snazzy events for 315 people.
A Fringe Full of Stars
The 2025 Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival spotlit 220+ theatre productions across 40 venues, with performances by more than 1,600 Artists from right here at home, across Canada, and more than 9 countries for 11 days in August.
As North America’s largest, longest-running Fringe Theatre Festival, we invite you to enjoy live theatre, outdoor performances, ice-cold beer, green onion cakes, our ATB Golden Ticket contest, unpredictable Albertan summer weather, and so much more.

Fringe Grounds Cafe is a loiter-positive space designed just for you. We enthusiastically invite you to host your knitting club, meeting, talk-back, or jam at Fringe Grounds for FREE.
